There is something fancy about the Marble Cakes as every time we bake one, different patterns come up in every loaf. Do you also get excited while slicing the cake and wonders what pattern is going to appear, well I do and that makes it the most interesting cake to cut! :)

Today I am sharing the recipe of Eggless Marble Cake with the Vanilla, Chocolate and Coffee flavour that comes out of the Oven very moist and flavour-full.





Eggless Marble Cake Cake

Ingredients:


Note: All Ingredients should be at room temperature

Dry Ingredients to sieve together
  • All Purpose Flour (APF) । मैदा - 1.5 cup
  • Baking Powder । बेकिंग पाउडर - 1 tsp
  • Baking Soda । बेकिंग सोडा - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt । नमक - 1/2 tsp ( do not add if using salted butter)
Other Ingredients 
  • Butter । मक्ख़न - 1/2 cup
  • Powdered Sugar । शक्कर का बूरा - 3/4th to 1 cup
  • Yogurt । दही - 1/2 cup
  • Lukewarm Milk । गुनगुना दूध - 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla Extract । वनैला एक्सट्रेक्ट - 1 tsp
For the Chocolate Flavour
  • Cocoa Powder । चॉकलेट पाउडर - 1/4th cup
  • Hot water । गरम पानी - 3-4 tbsp
For the Mocha Flavour
  • Instant Coffee । इंस्टेंट कॉफ़ी - 1.5 tsp
  • Hot Water । गरम पानी - 1 tbsp


Procedure:

Baking the Cake:
  1. Pre-heat the oven at 180°C and grease a loaf pan with butter and place a Butter Paper in it.
  2. Mix all the Dry Ingredients together and sieve twice to remove all the lumps and to bring aeration.
  3. Take butter and sugar in a bowl and whisk together for 5-7 minutes. Add Yogurt, Vanilla Extract and mix together.
  4. Add Flour mix ( in 3 batches) and Milk (in 2 batches) alternatively and fold in gently.
  5. Divide the batter into 3 parts. In one part, add the Cocoa mixture and in another add the Coffee decoction and leave one part as it is for the Vanilla flavour.
  6. In a greased Loaf pan, pour the batters alternatively and give a tap to remove air bubbles.
  7. Bake the cake in 180°C preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or till the skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean. (Baking time can vary)
  8. Let the Cake cool down in the pan for 10 minutes and then remove it on a wired rack and let it cool completely before cutting into slices.
