"Moist, full of flavours, decadent Eggless Chocolate Banana cake"

Are you Chocolate addict? Do you love Bananas? If yes, then this is a perfect Cake recipe where we have the bust of flavours from Bananas and Chocolate inside the cake and Chocolate Ganache outside.

This is a easy to follow recipe with no fuss, no fancy equipments; only one bowl, one pan and a whisk with some basic Baking ingredients, of course. In this recipe, I have used Oil which makes Cake soft even if you keep it in the Fridge, also I have used the Chocolate slab to add inside the Cake instead of Cocoa powder because I like the flavour of good Chocolate bar more then Cocoa powder. So, whats stopping you from trying your hands in baking? Try this recipe that you will not regret. 

Eggless Chocolate Banana Cake

Note: All Ingredients should be at room temperature

Dry Ingredients to sieve together
  • All Purpose Flour (APF) । मैदा - 1.5 cup
  • Baking Powder । बेकिंग पाउडर - 1.5 tsp
  • Baking Soda । बेकिंग सोडा - 3/4 tsp
  • Salt । नमक - 1/4 tsp 
Ingredients to mix together  
  • Flavourless Oil - 1/2 cup
  • Chocolate bar - 1/2 cup chopped roughly ( Chocolate Chips can also be used)
  • Brown Sugar - 1 cup
  • Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
  • Milk - 1 cup
Other Ingredients 
  • Rippen Bananas - 2 mashed 
  • Chocolate Bar - approx 150 gms ( for Ganache)
  • Cream - 150 gms ( for Ganache)
  • Butter - 2 tbsp ( for ganache)


Baking the Cake:
  1. Pre-heat the oven at 180°C and grease a cake pan with butter and place a Butter Paper in it.
  2. Take Oil, roughly chopped Chocolate slab, Milk, Sugar and Vanilla Essence in a pan and heat on a low flame till the chocolate melts.
  3. Meanwhile, sieve all the Dry Ingredients in a bowl and mash 2 Bananas with the help of fork.
  4. Once the Chocolate-Milk mixture cool down little bit ( slightly above the room temperature), fold in the Flour mixture and mashed Bananas.
  5. Transfer the cake batter to a prepared Cake tin and bake it for 45-55 minutes or till skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean in a Pre heated oven.
  6. Once baked, let the cake cool down completely before applying frosting.
For the Ganache:
  1. Chop the Chocolate slab into small pieces.
  2. Heat the cream in a Microwave for 1.5 minutes. 
  3. Mix the chopped Chocolate and Butter into the cream and mix till all the chocolate melts.
  4. Let the Ganache cool down at room temperature and once cool down, whisk it for few minutes to smoothen out.
  5. Apply the Ganache over the cake and serve.
